Brought up in Wairoa, I first graduated as a microbiologist from Massey University in 1975. When a good friend suggested I should join him in Dental school I started talking to a few dentists. I soon realised I had found my calling and my life career.
From my times as House surgeon, I retained my interest in paediatric, special needs dentistry and minor surgery (e.g. Wisdom teeth). I now contract to “Mobile Surgical Services” around 6 times a year, carrying out these procedures on the Mobile Surgical Bus in Wairoa.
What attracted me to this practice is that Gary Winter has kept his equipment, materials and techniques right up-to-date and he has the same passion and drive for excellence in dentistry I have.
